It’s amazing how you can be fully-clothed, and yet still be embarrassed to see a picture of yourself because it seems too risque.
That being said, I think the rest of the photos from Saturday’s shoot are going to be pretty good. The photographer and his wife were great, and parts of the mansion were pretty, but I would never in a million years have paid $250 a night to stay there. Dan* and Jenny*, the photographer and his wife, purchased two nights there and had lined up a bunch of models to each come and do two hour shoots, because every model loves a good hotel shoot. I was the first appointment of the second day. Apparently, during the shoot with the next girl after me, they all got kicked out! If I were paying $250 a night to stay somewhere, I should have the option to royally rock star trash the place if I wanted. Not that I would, but snapping a couple of photos outside? How is that wrong? Not only that, but the manager of the Mayor’s Mansion Inn berated their guests, then refused to give them a refund for the night they hadn’t used yet! I swear, I don’t understand how people can be so daft when it comes to customer service skills. You treat people like shit, and they’re not going to come back. And they’re also going to tell their friends. And those friends are going to blog about it. And report it to the Better Business Bureau.
More photos to come, hopefully soon!

I was the girl after you.We didn’t get to go to the room.I went to the desk, told the girl I was looking for the photographer and was invited to come in with my 2 escorts. We waited while she called the room to tell them we were there.I went out to my van to get my stuff and when I came back, the door to the mansion was locked! The photographer was called to come down stairs and he told us that we weren’t going to be able to shoot b/c only 2 people were allowed in the room.(their policy)Oh well, looks like your shoot went great, and I’m really excited about my shoot at the Reed House.

@Rachel, That is so ridiculous! I really think they should sue the hell out of that place. They should at least get a 100% refund and a week’s free credit to stay there.
You’re shooting at the Reed House? Who is the photographer? Sounds like fun!
Thanks for your comment!
