Photos from the Flood

This has been a few days coming, but for the past week or so the only internet access I’ve had has been at work. I’m pretty sure they frown upon blogging, and their computer systems aren’t advanced enough to handle being able to upload photos (probably intentional…productivity levels to uphold and all that). So I’m sorry I haven’t blogged sooner, but here ya go. These were taken about a week after everything had had time to “dry out”, so to speak. My property manager has photos of my car and the apartment when it was under water…if only I could get hold of them!

In update news, FEMA, GEMA, and The Red Cross are in our area for the time being, taking applications for assistance and overall just being there. I have pretty much stayed in constant contact with everyone, since I didn’t really know where else to go, not having renter’s insurance or comprehensive car insurance (hey, at least now I know better!) or any of that. Should I be worried that when I went to check my application status today, it said my user-name had expired?
