Amazon Kindle
Amazon Kindle is kind of like an iPod for books. This wireless gadget lets you download various books, then take them wherever you go. I’m not really sure how I feel about this. On one hand, it would really make traveling a breeze, without having to load down your bags with heavy books. On the other, it seems like it’s another step into making books obsolete, and there’s no new book smell! Amazon Kindle runs about $359, but unless you are wanting to pay close to $600, you’re going to have to wait until after Christmas to get this one! Best-sellers are available for download for $9.99, with millions of other books to choose from ready to go into this contraption for less.
If this is the only way you can get your guy to read, I’d say it’s worth the price!
