Happy Halloween! Hosting a Halloween party tonight, and you’re not sure what to put on for tunes aside from Michael Jackson’s “Thriller“? And don’t even think about “Monster Mash” if you’re over 12. So, I even started moving all the super-gushy puppy stuff to its own blog, but even that did not keep me from doing another puppy blog here.  What can I say:  I just can’t resist sharing the cuteness.

The babies are two weeks old now, and their eyes have all opened and their noses have turned from pink to black.  They are also getting really fat!  They’re starting to get curious and playful.  So of course, I took another video!

I never thought I would be one of those crazy dog people. And then a couple of years ago, I was given Leo as a birthday present.  And he was instantly the love of my life. He listened to me, was happy to see me no matter what I looked like, and had all the great traits another human being had, except he was loyal only the way an animal can be.

After we got Buffy, a sassier but at times sweeter version of Leo, it was solidified: I was a crazy Maltese lady.

And so it is, there have been a lot of terrible things happening lately, and not things limited to being shared on this blog. So now two of the people I love the most, who aren’t even people at all, are new parents.  So there is probably going to be a lot of puppy news over the next few weeks.  Sure, there will hopefully still be lots of posts about dieting (or my lack thereof during the flood stuff and how horribly it’s affected me!), money-saving tips, and general life humor. But for now, I’ve got puppies on the brain.

But honestly, can you blame me?
